Clutch lock up

The clutch locker was intended to improve consistency of the clutch release. In practice it has taken quite a while to really understand the settings . It was purchased via Ebay 2012 as a Yamaha Banshee part from member "mattoonmachine". Three stud holes were slotted and the back was ground off.
The spring studs were lengthened so that 1/4" nylocks secure it directly on top of the spring adjuster nuts.

The underside had some material of the 6 bosses ground off to achieve correct height for the weight arms to press on the pressure plate.

Note the 3 slotted holes to line up with the Triumph clutch stud pattern.

The extended clutch studs and custom 7075 alloy nuts. The nuts were "backed out" about 6mm from stock.

Lockup fitted in position. Note, 3 of the arms have no added weights as there was too much grip, too early on in the launch. (see some of Excalibur wheelie photos)

Clutch cover made from alluminum and brazed with Durafix rods.

In hindsight it would have been better to start with the clutch settings backed right off and slipping everywhere, then progressively tighten till the right amount of grip was available.
