Jamie won the Nationals at Meremere aboard Excalibur with an awesome run of consistency that paid off.

The Vrods qualified fastest but skilfull riding by Excaliburs' new rider, claimed the win. A most pleasing result gave winnings of a $300 purse which will be put toward a new drag slick tyre.
On the day, Excaliburs' times were approx 1/4 second slower than index but luck went our way in the semis with a win by a slim margin. The finals saw Greg Pratts top qualifying Vrod Destroyer redlighting.
