Details, pegs, guard, gearchange, etc

The footpegs are 7075 T6 alloy and are hollow with capped ends. The brake and gearchange run directly on the aluminium. The carrier brackets are simple plate alloy fastened to the frame by 6mm titanium. The pegs are fixed with 8mm. The rear brake reservoir is just a couple of cc! Both foot controls are chromoly and have capped ends for safety. Final drive is via 520 chromoly motocross chain with tough aluminium rear sprocket. The gearchange rod is hollow chromoly tube and the gearbox lever is a cut-down original. Currently the overall gear ratio is 4.32:1. The guard is carbon fibre, very light and thin. It will eventually require strengthening.
