Comp4, finished 3rd, cementing 2nd in the championship

Round 4 on Sunday concluded the comp series with Team Excalibur claiming 2nd spot in the Competiton Bike championship bracket. The Bonnie ran its' best time ever in the semis, with an 11.320 pass against the turbo Hyabusa of Bill Hamilton. Bill also ran a record time, pushing his index down to 8.405 and edging out Excalibur in the elimination.
Greg Pratts Vrod Destroyer took overall comp bike series victory, wrapping up the championship with a 2nd place in the 4th and final round..

The Nationals series final is less than 2 weeks away. We lead by 21 points over the Hyabusa. It's anyones game and could go either way. The Hyabusa is coming on very strong and breaking records, left and right. Can the old banger hold them off? 21 points lead doesn't seem enough!!

It's just announced that NZ local television, TV3 will televise the meeting with 1hr coverage.
